What is a Cadastral Map?
A cadastral map is a large-scale, measurement-based map showing the current state of an area at a specific date (structures, roads, elevations, infrastructure, etc.). It is used as a legal basis in zoning applications, site plans, topographic surveys, and project applications.
Why are Cadastral Maps Prepared?
- Mandatory basis for zoning plan and permit applications
- Documentation of existing structures and land conditions
- Elevation data for topographic surveys and volume calculations
- Determination of current situation in expropriation and urban transformation projects
- Infrastructure and landscape planning
Large-Scale Map and Map Information Production Regulation (LSSM) and Standards
Current maps are produced according to specific scale and accuracy criteria within the scope of the Large-Scale Map and Map Information Production Regulation (LSSM). KG Engineering provides cadastral map production and topographic survey services in accordance with the LSSM.
Existing Maps and Other Map Types
Existing maps focus on the "current situation"; digital terrain models (DTMs) are elevation model data. In existing map production, topographic survey data and DTM data are frequently used together.
