Traçim Concrete Batching Plant – Measurement and Site Plan Production with UAV

At Traçim Concrete Plant, we conducted drone-based measurement and site plan preparation to document the existing layout of the plant site and provide a basis for project design studies. By taking a holistic approach to the overall layout of the plant, we transformed the current situation on site into a planning infrastructure that can be used in technical inspections.

During our field work, we conducted aerial data collection using unmanned aerial vehicles. By documenting the facility area from a broad perspective, we evaluated the spatial relationships between existing structures, open spaces, and on-site transportation patterns. This approach, which allows for the simultaneous understanding of different usage areas in industrial facilities, helped us reveal the overall organization of the power plant site.

We processed the obtained field data and used it as a reference in the preparation of the site plan. During the plan production process, we brought together the existing layout of the facility and the elements defining the site in a clear drawing format. In this way, we created a technical basis that allows for the examination of the physical condition of the site through the plan, the evaluation of land use, and the understanding of the relationships between different work areas.

With the site plan we prepared, we not only documented the current state of the facility but also provided a reference for future site arrangement and design studies. This study, based on the layout at the time of measurement, allowed planning decisions to be developed based on current field data and enabled technical teams to evaluate a common plan. As KG Engineering, in the project we carried out at Traçim Concrete Plant, we combined the field data obtained with UAVs with engineering drawings. By preparing a site plan that records the current layout of the facility, we created a documentation infrastructure that can be used in site management and subsequent project processes.
